Deputies of the Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic supported the government initiative, which proposes to expand the audience for the program of training in the basics of entrepreneurship for schoolchildren, and to include in it not only students of the 11th grade, but also 9th and 10th grades. The training is carried out within the framework of the "Support and Development of Entrepreneurship in the PMR" state target program for 2023-2027 and involves training in the basics of starting your own business.
The need to adjust the age limit for participants in this training program was discussed during the hearing of the Government's reports on the implementation of state programs. The parties agreed then that it is necessary to provide the opportunity to gain knowledge in the field of starting own business and entrepreneurship in general not only to school graduates, who are most often already busy preparing for the Unified State Exam and admission.
Another innovation is the name of the course. It will not be "Basics of Starting Your Own Business" for schoolchildren, but "Basics of Entrepreneurship". Viktor Guzun separately clarified that this course is not mandatory. The project is being implemented by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic. It is the Chamber of Commerce and Industry that carries out preliminary work and regularly announces the training course in schools. Everything depends on the wishes of students and their parents. The training takes place in the regional offices of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
The deputies supported the initiative to amend the state target program "Support and Development of Entrepreneurship in the PMR" for 2023-2027 in two readings at once.
