About the results and plans

Chairman of the Supreme Council Alexander Korshunov, his deputy Galina Antyufeeva, Prime Minister Alexander Martynov, Heads of state administrations of the cities of the republic, profile ministers – are the participants of the workshop held by the President Vadim Krasnoselsky.

Three hours of intensive work, six items of the agenda. The first of these items concerned the implementation of the program for reconstruction of street lighting networks along public roads for 2018–2022. Deputy Minister of Economic Development Ivan Untu presented information about its implementation and plans for this year.

He instructed the relevant structures to conduct continuous monitoring of the implementation of the program for the reconstruction of street lighting networks, as well as to draw up a schedule for the implementation of funds allocated for its implementation.

The topic of the development of budget funds flowed smoothly into the second issue on the agenda. An important component of the law on the republican budget adopted by the Supreme Council is a capital investment program. More than 170 objects should be repaired, reconstructed or built in the current year. Earlier, when this program was first implemented, there were 174 of these facilities. This year, the focus will be on health care facilities.

Each Head of state administration reported on the degree of readiness for the allocation of funds from the capital investment-2019. It was also noted during the meeting that the Accounts Chamber will control the expenditure of the capital investment fund on behalf of the Supreme Council.

In addition, Vadim Krasnoselsky reminded the Heads of the promotion of the program "Affordable Housing". Members of housing cooperatives agreed to become 600 people, 120 of them intend to use credit resources for the initial payment. Five houses will be built in Tiraspol, two in Bendery.

The third issue on the agenda concerned urban infrastructure, namely road concreting and paving. There is the first positive experience. According to the plans for this year, the volume of work on concreting streets is 11% of the total volume, which will be funded by the Road Fund. The President considers that this is not enough.

The leadership of the republic intends to acquire a German paver for concreting roads with high productivity, the road workers will learn this technological process using the new unit from Belarusian colleagues.

The meeting also discussed the implementation of the law governing the removal of municipal solid waste from the private sector. In accordance with its rules, citizens who have not entered into an agreement on garbage collection with a specialized organization are required to pay a tax charge of 18 rubles per prescribed one.

The law adopted by parliamentarians was supported by the President and the heads of cities. They suppose that it stimulates consumers of public services to establish contractual relations with those who clean our cities and villages and remove waste solid. The consequence of this was decrease in the number of spontaneous dumps.

The subject of joint discussion of the meeting participants was an equally important issue of the procedure for using quarries for the needs of local authorities.
