On the support of young professionals, land reclamation and the growth of tax payments

Chairman of the Supreme Council Alexander Korshunov regularly takes part in sessions held by the Councils of People's Deputies of cities and regions of the republic. Recently, Alexander Korshunov visited Kamenka and Dubossary. Meetings of deputies of various levels in this format, according to the Chairman of the Supreme Council, make it possible to better know the problems of cities and regions of the republic and to develop optimal mechanisms for their solution.

Today, the head of the legislature took part in the session of the Council of People’s Deputies of the Slobodzeya region and the city of Slobodzeya. There were also deputies representing the interests of Slobodzeya residents in the parliament - Sergey Cheban, Pavel Shinkaryuk. The session was also attended by the Chairman of the CEC Elena Gorodetskaya.

The session agenda includes the report of the state administration on the implementation of the local budget for 9 months of this year. According to Tatyana Belova, head of the Department for Economic Development and Municipal Property of the State Administration of Slobodzeya, revenues amounted to 80 million 433 thousand rubles, which is 12% more than the planned amount. Over 74 million of these is own revenues - environmental fund revenues - 1 million 631 thousand, and special budget account revenues for paid services of municipal institutions amounted to 4 million 382 thousand rubles.

There is an increase in tax payments. According to speaker Alexander Korshunov, this indicates an increase in business activity in the area. Taxpayers are becoming more law abiding.

A good help for those who want to work in their homeland is the implementation of a project on lending to young families and young professionals to purchase their own housing or improve housing conditions. This yearbudget loans were allocated to 2 young families and 3 young professionals in Slobodzeya district.

The Supreme Council is currently considering a program to support young families. Funds for these purposes are planned to be budgeted. As the speaker Alexander Korshunov emphasized, the task of the state is to keep the youth, providing it with work and housing.

Parliamentarians also intend to pay attention to agriculture. The plans are to allocate more than last year funds for the development of the reclamation complex. The budget parameters for 2020 are under consideration by the Supreme Council today.

According to the Speaker of the Parliament, it is necessary to use the program-target method in budgeting. Alexander Korshunov gave an example of subsidizing milk production. In 2017, milk needs accounted for 20%. Thanks to the implementation of management decisions over two years, the volume of milk production in the republic has doubled and today stands at 43%. Plans to increase performance to 60%.

The session also discussed the optimization of the number of deputies of the republic. Amendments initiated by parliamentarians were adopted this year. The head of the CEC Elena Gorodetskaya told the local people's representatives and representatives of the election commissions about the upcoming work on the formation of constituencies. The number of districts for the election of deputies of the Supreme Council will be reduced by two districts on the territory of Slobodzeya district. The territorial election commission, together with the district council, will need to balance the number of urban districts for the election of deputies of the district council. They also talked about changes to the Electoral Code adopted since the previous election of deputies. Plans have been outlined for the preparation of the election campaign on Unified Voting Day, which will be held on November 29, 2020.
