Parliamentarians at the plenary session adopted amendments to the law "On Corporate Income Tax" in two readings. They provide for a reduction in the tax burden for a number of industries and activities of industrial enterprises. The document was developed by the government and submitted to the Supreme Council for consideration in the framework of the development of the Concept of fiscal policy 2018 and medium-term perspective.
As the Minister of Economic Development Sergei Obolonik emphasized in his speech during the plenary session, the law-in-draft is aimed at supporting the industrial complex, which is one of the key segments of Pridnestrovian economy.
You can see in the comparative table to the law-in-draft how the size of rates on the tax to income of organizations will change. For example, for the industry above mentioned ferrous metallurgy (in particular, for the Moldovan Metallurgical Plant), the tax rate is reduced by 40%; for the chemical industry - by 60%; for large machine-building - by 45%; for sewing production - by 20%, etc.
Speaker of the Parliament Alexander Shcherba noted that the deputy corps fully supports the idea of the law-in-draft. The initiative of the Government was preliminarily discussed in all parliamentary committees.
