On the eve of the Plenary Session

28.11.2017

In the course of the meeting of the Presidium of the Supreme Council it was decided that plenary meetings in December will be held weekly. This is due to the large volume of accumulated legislations as well as discussion in the Parliament of the draft of the main financial law of the year. As it is known the law should be adopted before the 20th of December.

The agenda of tomorrow plenary session includes 34 issues as well as the draft of “Republican Budget 2018”. The document was submitted for consideration in the first reading. It was discussed previously in parliamentary committees. Today, in the second half of the day the law-in-draft will be considered by the Committee on Economic Policy, Budget and Finance. The agenda of the meeting includes the law-in-draft “On the Budget of the Unified State Social Insurance Fund of the PMR for 2018”. Taking the importance of the document into consideration, colleagues parliamentarians as well as chairmen of the city councils are invited to the meeting.

Annually in May the Government submits the report on its activity over the year. As Chairman of the Supreme Councils informed, it was decided in the course of the meeting with the President that the reports should be held with participation of deputies, representing the region at the Supreme Council.

The agenda of the plenary session scheduled for November 29 will also include a number of legislations, introduced by the President in the regime of legislative necessity.

Among them there are amendments to the law “On State Pension Service in Pridnestrovie”. The document will be considered together with a similar initiative, prepared by deputies Oleg Bayev and Galina Antyufeeva. Both legislations were developed with a view on realizing the rights of the citizens of the republic to pension provision. In particular, the deputy law-in-draft provides for establishment of a norm, determining the right to pension of Pridnestrovian citizens, residing in the territory of the republic and working after January 1, 1992 on the basis of employment contract in organizations, located in the settlements of Pridnestrovie temporarily under the control of the Republic of Moldova.
