The Yuzhny park will soon appear in the constituency No. 28 "Central" of the capital

A park will soon appear in the microdistrict "Yuzhny" of the capital, which is located in the constituency No. 28 "Central". Funds for the improvement of the new recreation area in the amount of 3.2 million rubles were allocated from the Capital Investment Fund.

The idea to create a park on the site of a former illegal dump at the intersection of Gorky and Lenin streets in Tiraspol appeared in 2018. Preparatory work began then. The area was cleared, covered with soil, utility lines were partially installed, and the first trees and shrubs were planted. The final design for the park was approved this year.

Particular attention was paid to the lighting issue when creating the project. Instead of the usual lanterns, there will be garlands with light bulbs in the very center of the park, like in the capital's Aviators' Park. The architects took into account the close proximity of residential buildings. The lighting will be designed so that the light from the park does not interfere with the rest of the residents of multi-story buildings at night. A Wi-Fi zone will be equipped in the new recreation area, benches and safe city cameras will be installed.

Workers plan to pour concrete for a running track, lay tiles for walking paths, and install lighting by the end of the year. The remaining work will continue in the spring.
