Deputies in the course of the meeting of the Presidium of the Supreme Council discussed a number of legislations included in the agendas of regular plenary meetings. Among them there are - amendments to the law "On immovable objects of cultural heritage". The author is Deputy Mikhail Burla - proposed to shorten the period after which immovable objects of cultural heritage can be recognized as such and included in the Unified State Register. The law-in-draft, in particular, proposes to reduce this period from 70 to 40 years. According to the developer, this will help preserve the monuments. The proposed norms are similar to the norms of Russian legislation.

The State report on the situation of children in the PMR in 2018 was submitted to the Supreme Council for consideration. The document presented by the government determines the priority areas of the state’s activity in solving childhood problems, ensuring the rights of children, their development and protection. The report was discussed by members of the Committee on Education, Science and Culture. As Mikhail Burla noted, there were many questions for the relevant ministry. In particular, lawmakers focused on the migration outflow of young Pridnestrovians from the republic, the acquisition of housing for orphans.

Deputies Galina Antyufeyeva, Vitaly Kalin, Oleg Belyakov, Oleg Petrik and Valery Babchinetskiy proposed amendments to the Code of Administrative Offenses. The law-in-draft, in particular, proposes to establish administrative responsibility for denying representatives of socially vulnerable category of citizens access to receive goods, work or services on equal terms with other citizens. This is about elderly people, minors, people with disabilities, who have special needs related to their state of health, limitation of life.

As it was noted by the of the Presidium members, the deputies have a lot of questions regarding the progress and pace of the implementation of the state program for the execution of voters' orders. Deputies insist on maximum transparency of tendering procedures, procurement of materials, and work. According to Vice Speaker Galina Antyufeyeva, for example, there should be special requirements for materials for playgrounds. They should be aesthetic, anti-vandal and, above all, safe for children. Their price should be consistent with quality.

As you know, the Supreme Council received law-in-draft on the republican budget for 2020. It is currently under consideration by deputies. Oleg Vasilatiy, the Head of the Committee on Economic Policy, Budget and Finance, called on colleagues to quickly discuss the draft main financial document of the year and send their conclusions to the responsible committee. Today it will be considered in the Committee on public associations, sports, information and youth policy.

The next plenary meeting of the Supreme Council is scheduled for October 16.
