The Supreme Council deputies listened to the reports of the Prosecutor's Office and the Accounts Chamber. Representatives of the supervisory and control bodies presented their positions regarding the results of the Government's activities and interdepartmental interaction.
The Prosecutor of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic Anatoly Guretsky noted that the Government actively cooperated with the supervisory authority in 2021.
The Prosecutor of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic during the presentation of the report gave several examples when they drew attention to the shortcomings of the Government. Thus, the Prosecutor's Office several times pointed out the need to restore order in the work of state management companies. The work of such companies is financed from the state budget. However, the PMR Prosecutor's Office repeatedly raised questions about the legality and effectiveness of their actions. The problem of remuneration of workers in the public sector raised questions. As an example, Anatoly Guretsky cited the case of the salary of the general director of the State Unitary Enterprise "Water Supply and Sanitation". According to the Prosecutor's Office, it was unreasonably high. However, the Government left the situation unchanged for a long time.
The Head of the Accounts Chamber of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic Svetlana Izmestyeva focused on the topic of the implementation of plans for income and expenditures of the budget and extra-budgetary funds. The report identified both positive and negative trends. The Head of the Accounts Chamber in the work of the Government noted the lack of a unified approach to the issue of preferential and paid meals for children in educational organizations. Svetlana Izmesteva spoke about the shortcomings in the management of state and municipal property. There are questions to accounting in the field of housing and communal services. According to the Head of the Accounts Chamber, certain problems in the budget process may be associated either with shortcomings in planning or with gaps in legislation.
After the speech of the Prosecutor of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic and the Head of the Accounts Chamber, the deputies of the Supreme Council focused on the need to establish clearer interaction with the Government by searching for a "golden mean" in all topical issues.
