The Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic has completed work on the law-in-draft on amendments and additions to the republican budget of this year. Speaker Alexander Korshunov, commenting on the work on this document, called the law-in-draft long-playing. He noted that the document was supposed to be submitted for consideration by parliamentarians on the 1st of February, and was adopted in March. Due to the fact that the deputies received it later than usual, moreover, with a large number of amendments (more than 100), the law-in-draft turned into a voluminous document, which was worked on by representatives of the relevant Committee on Economic Policy, as well as representatives of the Government of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic and all deputies Supreme Council.
Changes in the republican budget of this year concern development programs, first of all. Parliamentarians, representatives of the Government of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic, as well as the Union of Industrialists, Agrarians and Entrepreneurs of Pridnestrovie corrected the list of objects and the amounts allocated for them within the framework of the Capital Investment Fund and the Road Fund with the amendments. Each item was worked out in detail.
The parliamentarians noted at the plenary session, that the current foreign policy and economic instability, requires constant analysis of the situation and determination of budgetary possibilities. First of all, work will continue at the facilities where they have already been started. As well as those where repairs are urgently needed, deputies of the Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic consider. All these objects are kept in the capital investment program. So, for example, the gradual transformation of the infrastructure of the Pridnestrovian State University and the Republican Clinical Hospital in Tiraspol, the capital's school Number 18, the Energetikovsky park in Dubossary, the Wittgenstein park in Kamenka, the Rybnitsa rowing sports school, the House of Culture of Podoima and Katerinovka villages and some other objects will continue. Among the new, but urgent, is the Republican Orphanage, where the roof and windows need to be replaced, and an additional almost two million rubles are needed to repair the heating system. According to the targeted programs of local budgets, all the balances remain with the local authorities, so that they could use these resources for their municipal programs, Speaker Alexander Korshunov noted.
Parliamentarians adopted amendments and additions to the Law “On the Republican Budget for 2022” in the second final reading at plenary session today. The document has been sent to the President for signature.
