The Golden Dragon Cup regatta started in Bendery at 9 am. It is being held for the third year in a row for the City Day. 44 teams were registered this time. The teams of government bodies, ministries, departments and enterprises were the first to start the 300-meter race. 24 teams were divided into two subgroups. The parliamentary team "Supreme Dragon" competed in subgroup "A", consisting of the captain, Chairman of the Supreme Council Alexander Korshunov and members of the parliamentary staff. According to the draw, the parliamentary rowers competed with the team "Adrenaline" of the Ministry of Economic Development.

The Supreme Dragon began to lead from the start. The result at the finish: Ministry of Economic Development - 1.24.83, Supreme Council - 1.18.91. Based on the results of the races of 12 teams, the Supreme Dragon" entered the top four together with MMZ (1.15.90), the Presidential Administration (1.16.85) and Vodokanal (1.22.29). These teams automatically reached the quarterfinals.

The result of the first race of the Supreme Dragon was commented on by the team captain, Chairman of the Supreme Council Alexander Korshunov. The Supreme Council team trained every week after the June regatta in Tiraspol. The Supreme Dragon covered 300 meters of the distance in 1.26.87 minutes and did not make it to the 1/8 finals Then.
