Amendments to the law on the budget of 2024 adopted

The Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic adopted today in the second final reading amendments and additions to the law "On the Republican Budget for 2024", which, adjusted the deficit parameters, revenue and expenditure parts of the republican and local budgets based on the results of 9 months of financial and economic activity. Funds were redistributed in those areas that require completion this year taking into account the amendments to the second reading.

In particular, large transfers of funds for the allocation of additional subsidies were made for the Road Fund of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic. Grigoriopol will be allocated an additional 50 thousand rubles to eliminate emergency situations on the Grigoriopol – Karmanovo – Kolosovo – border of Ukraine highway, an additional 495 thousand rubles will be sent to Rybnitsa to carry out work on repairing the road surface of the customs checkpoint "Rybnitsa Bridge", which will help increase the throughput capacity and improve the customs checkpoint across the state border of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic. Almost 900 thousand rubles have been additionally allocated for the construction, repair and improvement of the sidewalk along Pionerskaya Street in Bendery and 270 thousand rubles – for the reconstruction of paving along Protyagaylovskaya Street (in the area of ​​the Center for Mother and Child State Institution in Bendery). About 2 million rubles will be redirected to design and construction work for the installation of a third traffic lane for export at the customs checkpoint "Bendery - Chisinau". The task of creating more comfortable conditions for crossing the border was set by the head of state Vadim Krasnoselsky. Additional limits in the amount of 1.7 million rubles were also allocated for the repair of Suvorov and Komsomolskaya streets in the village of Sukleya, 890 thousand rubles were added for the work to expand Lenin Street in Tiraspol in the area where work is currently underway to create the Yuzhny park within the framework of the Road Fund. The head of the relevant Committee noted, funding was planned under the state target program "Replacement of mercury-containing street lighting lamps on public roads owned by the state and municipalities with LED lamps" for 2024-2028for the first time. 

Another redistribution of funds was made through the Ministry of Healthcare. 725 thousand rubles were added for such an area of ​​​​government spending as the reception of children by specialists for diagnostics in private clinics. The state finances the appointments of such specialists in private (paid) clinics in the PMR due to the shortage of pediatric specialists in clinics every year. Viktor Guzun noted, the limits have already been exhausted this year. Children in need of diagnostics will be able to receive consultations from narrow specialists in the direction of pediatricians until the end of December. 

The law-in-draft on amendments to the law "On the Republican Budget for 2024", adopted in the final reading, will enter into force after being signed by the President of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic.
