Entrepreneurs need the initiatives

27.03.2019

From April 1, a new tax system is introduced in the republic for individual entrepreneurs. Three tax regimes are offered: the patent and simplified tax systems, as well as the tax regime for self-employed persons. In order to soften the entry into force of the reform, a legislative initiative of the president was sent to the Supreme Council. The amendment were prepared for the second reading. A detailed discussion of each of them took place the day before at a meeting of the Committee for the Development of Entrepreneurship and Industry and the Obnovlenie Parliamentary Faction.

Key suggestion: entrepreneurs will have another month to choose a convenient tax regime and issue the necessary documents to the tax inspectorates. There, by the way, are ready to answer any questions from entrepreneurs. The working day of the tax authorities has been extended until 19:00, they also work on Saturdays.

Working under the simplified system will be able to carry out their activities without online cash registers until the end of May. The government continues to work on creating software.

Deputies paid attention to the issue of the size of social payments to individual entrepreneurs working on patent and simplified taxation systems. This amendment at the last plenary meeting was the most controversial. The position of deputies: to establish a single social tax in the amount of 14% of the minimum wage.

Another suggestion: people with disabilities will be given benefits not only for social payments, but also for tax on potentially earning income. In addition, the benefits will affect all pensioners - citizens of Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic, including those who receive a pension in a foreign country.

To regulate the procedure for the implementation of foreign economic activity by individual entrepreneurs, another law-in-draft was created, directed by the President. Until the end of May, it will be possible to freely import goods into the republic on the basis of a certificate of registration of an individual as an individual entrepreneur.

In the provided transition period, entrepreneurs will be able to decide on the tax regime and issue the necessary documents to the tax inspectorates. The law-in-draft was adopted immediately in two readings.
