The Parliament adopted amendments to the Law of the PMR “On State Support for Young Families in Acquisition of Housing” in two readings at once in the course of the plenary session.

The list of recipients of state subsidies for full or partial payment of a loan and interest on it for the purchase of housing has been expanded. Representatives of a number of law enforcement agencies, as well as certified employees of the tax authorities of the Ministry of Finance, were added to it. It is planned that another 72 young professionals will be able to take a housing subsidy. These are 48 servicemen of the Ministry of State Security of the PMR, 14 servicemen of the State Security Service of the PMR, 10 tax officers of the Ministry of Finance of the PMR.

It is assumed that funds for the provision of state subsidies will be included in the draft law "On the republican budget for 2024", the law "On state support for young families in the acquisition of housing" will come into force on January 1, 2024.

The law “On State Support for Young Families in Acquisition of Housing” was adopted by the Supreme Council in February 2020. According to the PRB, 76 young families received loans in the amount of 17.6 million rubles on the basis of housing certificates in 2022. Categories of recipients of state subsidies are constantly expanding.

According to the law, at the moment the right to provide state subsidies belongs to:

- medical workers with higher medical education (doctors) and with secondary medical education working in healthcare organizations of the state and local healthcare systems;

- nurses working in state (municipal) special (correctional) educational organizations;

- teachers working in state (municipal) preschool and general educational organizations, organizations of secondary vocational education, organizations of additional education, in rehabilitation centers;

- officers of the PMR Armed Forces;

- district militia inspectors, employees of militia patrol units, employees of temporary detention facilities and escort units of administrative militia services, employees of duty guards and separate (military) fire posts of the unit in charge of preventing emergencies and eliminating the consequences of natural disasters;

- certified employees of the penitentiary system of the Ministry of Justice of the PMR, military personnel of the internal troops of the Ministry of Justice of the PMR and bailiffs;

- managers and specialists working in state (municipal) libraries;

- managers and specialists working in state (municipal) palaces and houses of culture;

- employees of municipal social service institutions.

the military personnel of the Ministry of State Security and the State Security Service of the PMR, as well as employees of the tax services of the Ministry of Finance will have the opportunity to receive a state subsidy from January 2024.

The purpose of expanding the categories of recipients of state subsidies is to stimulate personnel, increase their motivation and retain specialists in the republic.
