From January to July 2018, the Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic held 15 plenary sessions and 36 sessions of the Presidium of the Supreme Council of the PMR.

The Supreme Council considered 555 issues, 555 decisions on which of the Supreme Council of the PMR were adopted and signed.

 

The Accounting Chamber was entrusted with carrying out 2 expert-analytical and control measures.

 

The President of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic has signed and officially published 228 laws of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic, 24 laws are on the signature of the President of the PMR.

 

From adopted during the 5th session of the 6th convocation of the Supreme Council, there are a number of new (basic) laws of the PMR (including constitutional ones):

 

- "On ratification of the Treaty on Friendship, Cooperation and Partnership between the PMR and the Republic of Abkhazia";

- "State Program of Denationalization and Privatization in the PMR for 2018-2019";

- "On the development of information blockade technologies in the PMR";

- "On non-profit organizations";

- "On State Support of Investment Activities";

- "On monthly compensation for certain categories of PMR pensioners";

- "On the social protection of children of war".

 

On July 11, 2018, the PMR Law "On Public Procurement in the PMR" was adopted in the final reading.

 

Other laws adopted by the Supreme Council introduce amendments and addendum to the current legislation.

The Supreme Council of the PMR over the past period rejected 16 legislations.

The authors of legislative initiatives have withdrawn 46 legislative initiatives.

From January to July 2018, 261 legislative initiatives were submitted to the Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic for consideration from the subjects of the law initiative.

719 people applied to the Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic for the reporting period, including 716 people addressed to the deputies of the Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic, and 780 to the committees of the Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic. In addition, 38 people did not leave written appeals.

The leadership of the Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic considered 266 written appeals registered by the department for dealing with citizens' appeals and archives. As a result of consideration of 165 commissions to the committees of the Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic and the Office of the Supreme Council, of which:

in the Legal Department - 13,

to the structural subdivisions of the Apparatus of the Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic - 2.

64 institutions have been sent to the institutions and departments of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic for jurisdiction.

 

242 replies have been sent to the applicants for the expired period.

The Chairman of the Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic and his deputy held 10 receptions, during which 110 people were at reception.
