The Information on Key Indicators of the Supreme Council of Pridnestrovie Activity for 2014

The Supreme Council of PMR received 409 legislative initiatives for the consideration from the subjects of legislative initiative during 2014. (President of Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic directed 42 legislations in the regime of legislative necessity).

31 plenary meetings and 47 meetings of the Presidium of the Supreme Council of PMR were held.

721 Resolution of the Supreme Council of PMR were accepted and executed.

236 laws of Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic, including new laws of Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic were adopted by the Supreme Council, signed by President of Pridnestrovie and officially published:

- “Some measures of the state aimed at improving the socio-economic macroeconomic stability”;

- Code of Civil Procedure of Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic;

- Code of Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic on administrative violations;

- "On Alternative Civil Service";

- "On the observance of silence of and quiet of citizens";

- "On the State Security Service of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic".

The rest laws adopted by the Supreme Council are making amendments and addendum to the existing legislation.

16 laws are rejected by the President of Pridnestrovie and sent to the Supreme Council for reconsideration:

- on 4 laws of PMR, it was decided to accept the rationale President of Pridnestrovie to reject the laws of Pridnestrovian Moldovan Republic;

- 6 laws of PMR were adopted for the second time in the version proposed by the President of Pridnestrovie;

- 1 law of PMR was adopted in the wording of the conciliation commission;

- 1 law of PMR was adopted in earlier adopted by the Supreme Council of PMR version;

- 1 law of PMR was considered rejected as a whole;

- 3 laws of PMR are on reconsideration in the Parliament of Pridnestrovie.

The authors of the legislative initiatives have withdrawn from consideration of the Supreme Council of Pridnestrovie 100 legislative initiatives.

The Supreme Council of Pridnestrovie in the intervening period has been rejected 99 legislations.

Stenographic department produced record and transcript:

- 31 plenary session of the Supreme Council;

- 47 meetings of the Presidium of the Supreme Council of PMR;

- 2 hearings;

- 1 round table;

- 1 meeting of the working group;

- 2 meetings of the Council of Elders;

- 20 meetings of committees of the Supreme Council.

988 people, including deputies to the Parliament of Pridnestrovie – 602 appealed in the Parliament of Pridnestrovie for 2014 through the Department of reception and appeals of citizens. 139 people have left no written complaints.

The leadership of Parliament of Pridnestrovie considered 247 written complaints registered by the Department of reception and treatment of citizens, and 333 orders were sent, of which: committees of the Supreme Council of PMR and the deputies - 291, in agencies and departments of Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic - 42. 157 responses were sent to the address for applicants during 2014.

Chairman of the Supreme Council of Pridnestrovie and his deputies held 30 receptions, during which 46 people were received.

During the reporting period:

Committee on Economic Policy, Budget and Finance held 40 meetings and reviewed 15 applications from citizens and organizations;

Committee on Legislation, law Enforcement, Protection of the Rights and Freedoms of Citizens held 23 meetings. 425 written complaints from citizens and organizations were received by the Committee, to which a definitive answer was given;

Committee on Development of Small and Medium Business and Industry held 18 meetings and examined 138 applications from citizens;

Committee on Social Policy, Health, Labour, Family and Childhood held 15 meetings and examined 252 written complaints of citizens, including 152 – Online on the web-site of the Supreme Council of Pridnestrovie;

Committee on Agriculture, Transport, Construction, Natural Resources and Environment held 16 meetings, the number of responses to the complaints of citizens for the period - 79;

Committee on Public Associations, Sports, Information and Youth Policy held 13 meetings and examined 9 complaints of citizens;

Committee on Education, Science and Culture held 17 meetings and reviewed 16 applications from citizens;

Committee on Security, Defense and Peacekeeping Operations for the period held 20 meetings. 21 written requests of citizens and organizations were received by the Committee, 20 of them were considered.
