13 titles of textbooks were published in the republic within the framework of the “Textbook” state target program last year. The total circulation is 2487 copies. Among them there are 165 textbooks for special correctional schools on the Russian language, mathematics and the surrounding world for 3rd grade students. More than 680 more copies of textbooks for technical schools and colleges in the disciplines “Russian Language” and “Information Technologies in Professional Activities”.
Much attention by tradition was paid to the publication and re-publication of textbooks and educational literature in the Moldovan and Ukrainian languages. Including textbooks on the history of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic.
526.5 thousand rubles totally were allocated from the budget for the implementation of the activities of the “Textbook” state program in 2023.
The problem of textbooks being worn out was discussed in the course of the plenary meeting. According to the law, the standard period for using textbooks is 7 years. The level of depreciation of the educational fund in the republic as a whole at the same time is more than 67%, according to the Ministry of Education of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic. Things are best in the capital. The wear and tear of educational literature in Tiraspol schools is 28%. The situation is much worse in the districts: from 72% of the depreciation of the educational fund in Rybnitsa district to 91% in Slobodzeya district.
The head of the relevant parliamentary parliament proposed to the Government, when developing the draft republican budget for the next financial year, to increase funding for the “Textbook” state program.
The report on the implementation of the state target program “Development Strategy of the Shevchenko Pridnestrovian State University for the period 2019-2023” was discussed by Deputies in the course of the plenary session,
It was planned to allocate 37 million rubles for it initially, when the state program was approved in 2019. 27 million of these are from the republican budget, and 10 million from special funds from the university from the provision of paid services. However, the amount of budget funding was constantly adjusted during the period of operation of the state program.
About 2.2 million rubles were allocated from the republican budget for its implementation in 5 years of the program. These funds were used to purchase new computer equipment for the needs of the university, including 42 monoblocks for the Unified State Exam of the Russian Federation in 2021, updated sound equipment in the Cultural and Educational Center of the Pridnestrovian State University, and purchased vehicles to support the economic activities of the university.
Parliamentarians approved reports on the implementation of the “Textbook” state program in 2023 and the state program “Development Strategy of the Shevchenko Pridnestrovian State University for the period 2019-2023”, unanimously supporting the relevant resolutions.
