Members of “The Obnovlenie” parliamentary faction discussed some of the issues included in the agenda of today's plenary session. The central event of the day – is participation of Russian Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin. Members of the official delegation headed by the Special Representative of the President of the Russian Federation on the eve of Pridnestrovie visited peacekeeping post №10 at the entrance to Bendery. Solely the Russian peacekeepers are servicing here. Working meetings were also held in the Moldovan capital.
According to the head of the faction Pyotr Pasat, the initiator of communication within the walls of Pridnestrovian parliament was Dmitry Rogozin. It is expected that after the speech before the deputies of the Supreme Council, the plenary participants will discuss with the Russian guest a number of proposals of social orientation. Presumably, it will go to humanitarian projects, provision of pensions, maternity capital, lending to agribusiness sector.
Substantive agenda of the plenary session is rather saturated. There are about fifty questions. Among them there are laws aimed at strengthening the role of the prosecution in court proceedings as well as regulating the relationship of this body with the Investigative Committee. Members of “The Obnovlenie” consider that this issue must be addressed comprehensively. In their view, the adoption of two packages should be postponed in order to continue work in this direction systemically.
They discussed a number of legislations of social orientation at the meeting. Deputies supported the initiative, according to which the workers have the right to choose their own bank, which will receive a salary. Another socially significant proposal - is to provide pensions to parents and not re-married widows "Afghans." Nobody disputed the legitimacy of giving veterans status to "Cubans".
The initiative, act against the adoption of which were Deputies of “The Obnovlenie”, - amending the law "On information, information technologies and information protection". Governmental law-in-draft proposes to restrict access to Internet resources, disseminate information, recognized untrue by the court. However, the mechanism is not clear technical initiatives embodiment, for example, if the marked information has been not only on a particular site, but also on other replicated. Parliamentarians have fears that there will be willing to use the proposed regulations for the targeted closure of those or other Internet sources.
