The Supreme Council adopted a law regulating the use of the fixed agricultural tax in two readings. The author is the President, but the essence is the ability to pay a fixed agricultural tax by agricultural farms that failed to register rights to land. They can do this by addressing the tax authorities by 20 February of the current year. This year is allocated for agricultural producers to register their rights to the land plots being in use.
The head of profile parliamentary Committee on Agriculture Oleg Leontiev mentioned another innovation.
The fixed agricultural tax (introduced in 2004) combines the three previous taxes from farmers - the unified social tax, land tax and the tax on maintenance of housing. It proved its effectiveness over the years; the majority of land users use it.
