Prime Minister Alexander Martynov presented to legislators a report on the results of the government's activities in 2017. Deputies were able to get acquainted in advance with the report of the head of the government (which is more than 160 pages). Last week, the document was discussed at a meeting of the consultative assembly of the first Pridnestrovian deputies. The founders of the republic were interested in the healthcare situation, the provision of medicines, the course of administrative reform, and much more. They could ask questions, make comments, draw conclusions.
Today, parliamentarians heard the report and asked questions that interested their voters, and this is despite the fact that they had prepared a list of questions to the government early in the year.
The list of issues submitted by parliamentarians included a variety of topics. They concerned the indexation of deposits, the results of a "pilot project" implemented in the Ministry of Economic Development, control over the prices of medicines. People's representatives were also interested in what medicines are included in the list of "top 100"; how many new jobs were created in the republic in 2017; what measures are being taken by the government to limit the growth of prices, to prevent the impoverishment of workers in the budgetary sphere, pensioners, how many transferred them to the Russian pension, and what is the economic effect of this transition?
When answering the last question, the following figures were given: the total number of citizens who switched to receive a Russian pension - 7950 people. The average pension for the past year is 1348 rubles. The economic effect is 67.602.760 rubles. The funds are used to cover the deficit of the social insurance fund.
29 questions were asked totally. During the plenary session, new ones were heard.
According to the Prime Minister, the work of the executive body of the government is aimed at this year. Alexander Martynov supposes that along with creating new jobs, it is necessary to do everything possible to preserve the existing ones. The paradox is that jobs are being created now, but there is no one to work for. There are 960 vacant places, the majority - in the real sector of the economy. Therefore, the task is to prepare specialists, mainly a working profile.
Answering the question about investment activity, Alexander Martynov highly appreciated the adopted law regulating this sphere
The deputies were also interested in the prospects for the development of health care. The plans include raising wages, financing the industry, including the purchase of medicines, bringing the infrastructure of medical institutions in a proper condition, the head of government assured.
Deputy Oleg Vasilaty asked a question about the demographic situation - this topic is not reflected in the government's report.
The head of the republic Vadim Krasnoselsky gave a broader explanation of the deputy's question.
The list of issues that were also voiced by the legislators - how the problems of payment of salary arrears to employees of the reorganized enterprises of the housing and communal services, in particular in the Slobodzeia district, are being solved; the possibility of using "maternity capital" on the territory of Pridnestrovie, the simplified procedure for taking citizenship of the Russian Federation, taking into account the length of service in accruing the Russian pension to the Pridnestrovians.
