Amendments and additions to the law “On compulsory insurance of civil liability of vehicle owners” were considered in the second, final reading at the plenary meeting. The author of the legislative initiative is the deputy Yury Kucherenko.
Considering that today the law establishes the possibility of concluding compulsory insurance contract in electronic form along with a paper carrier, this draft law proposes to establish the basic principles of the procedure for concluding such an agreement.
They relate to the maximum number of persons that the insured has the right to allow to drive a vehicle, the insurer's duties, the list of documents to be submitted when concluding an insurance contract, as well as the list of grounds for returning the insurance premium upon early termination of the contract.
In addition, it is proposed to introduce into the obligation of the insurer to control insurance agents and be responsible for their actions. The amendments clarify the list of documents that can serve as a source of information for the insurer about the vehicle, as well as establish the dates for the entry into force of the rules for the professional activities of insurers.
The deputies supported the proposed amendments to the law and adopted the law-in-draft in the second, final reading.
The discussion of the state target program “Support and development of tourism in the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic” for the years 2019-2026 initiated an active discussion.
The program was developed by the Government in order to effectively realize the tourism potential of Pridnestrovie, as well as to create a modern competitive tourism industry, focused on meeting the needs of Pridnestrovians and foreign guests as fully as possible for domestic and inbound tourism services.
The deputies had questions about the estimated costs that are planned for the implementation of this program, namely, whether additional funds will be required from the state budget or whether these funds will be allocated through redistribution from other items of expenditure.
As a result, deputies agreed with the proposal of the Deputy Chairman of the Government to separately agree on a number of controversial issues, and then to submit the state program on tourism support for consideration in the second, final reading at the next plenary session of the Supreme Council.
