Meeting of the Presidium of the Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic took place today. At it, parliamentarians approved a number of issues that will be added to the agenda of the plenary meeting, scheduled for this Wednesday, and also included a number of bills for consideration at the next plenary meeting.
The agenda of the plenary meeting, which will take place on September 20, was supplemented by a number of bills that introduce changes and additions to tax legislation. They were presented to the Presidium of the Supreme Council by the Chairman of the Committee on Economic Policy, Budget and Finance, Viktor Guzun. We are talking about initiatives presented to parliament by the Government of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic. In particular, one of the packages of legislative initiatives proposes to make a transition to paying the unified social tax in a single payment without the need to distribute the tax amount for appropriate purposes. According to the Government, this will free up labor, time and financial resources of taxpayers, tax authorities and social insurance authorities.
Another legislative initiative to be considered in the course of the plenary session this week concerns changes in the financial reporting system of entrepreneurs operating under a simplified taxation system. The government proposes to oblige them, by the 5th day of the month following the reporting month, to provide to the tax authorities at the place of registration information on the movement of funds on current ruble and foreign currency accounts opened for business activities. Reporting must be in electronic form. This norm is fixed in legislation as possible now. The Supreme Council will consider these and other issues in the first reading.
The Presidium decided that the next plenary meeting will be held on Tuesday, September 26. So that the Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic has time to adopt changes to the tax legislation in the second final reading, and the legislations themselves are signed by the President before October 1. They will come into force in 2024.
Parliamentarians will have to consider a number of legislations, responsible for which are the Committee on Legislation, Protection of Rights and Freedoms of Citizens, as well as the Committee on Social Policy and the Committee on Regional Policy on September 26. We are talking about introducing amendments and additions to the Criminal and Civil Procedure Codes, the Code of Administrative Offenses. It is planned to consider amendments to the law “On Social Protection of Persons with Disabilities” in two readings at once, the first reading of the law-in-draft “On Immunoprevention of Infectious Diseases”, which proposes to supplement the Vaccination Calendar with two more vaccines.
A number of legislations have been included in tomorrow's plenary meeting agenda by the Committee on Agro-Industrial Complex, Industry, Transport, Construction and Natural Resources. The remaining deputies will consider next week.
