Regular meeting of the Presidium of the Parliament took place. Deputies will have to discuss in the second final reading the amendments to the laws "On the Prosecutor's Office of the PMR" and "On the pension provision of employees of the prosecutor's office with class ranks and their families in the PMR". The purpose of the legislations submitted to the legislative body by the PMR Prosecutor is to ensure uniform approach to the issues of pension provision for employees of prosecution bodies. In particular, it is proposed to regulate at the legislative level the pension coverage of prosecutors who continue to serve in prosecution bodies and are eligible for long service pensions, by analogy with the pension coverage of military personnel and persons equated with them for pension provision, as well as clarify the status of persons undergoing military service in the military prosecutor's office of the republic.

As it was noted by the head of the Committee on Social Policy Sergey Cheban, law-in-draft is also ready for consideration in the second reading, introducing amendments to the law "On Employment". The author was the Government of the republic, which proposes to increase the amount of unemployment benefits to citizens who were fired in connection with the liquidation of the organization or to reduce the size of the organization, as well as to increase the size of unemployment benefits and other categories of citizens, setting its size depending on the total length of service. The law-in-draft aims to change the deregistration procedure at the employment center. The relevant committee, having discussed the legislation, proposed a number of amendments. They are aimed at resolving the situation associated with the refusal of people from job offers.

To date, over three thousand unemployed are in employment centers. At the same time, there are approximately 3800 vacancies.

At one of the autumn plenary sessions in the first reading, deputies will consider amendments to the law "On the social protection of war veterans". The goal of the law-in-draft submitted by the Government is to restore social justice for parents, including single, whose children under the age of 18, died from the consequences of hostilities in 1992, namely due to injuries sustained in the post-war period from rupture of ammunition, explosive substances. This category of citizens is out of the list of those to whom the state provides social support.

A number of legislations, approved and recommended for adoption by members of the regional policy committee are also planned to be submitted to the plenary session. This is about the initiative of Deputy Anton Onufrienko, who proposes to supplement the Code of Administrative Offenses with a norm establishing liability for the refusal of a specialized company to conclude contracts for the provision of services for the collection and removal of municipal solid waste.

As it was noted by the Chairman of the Supreme Council Alexander Korshunov, the legislature did not receive draft tax laws that worsen the situation of taxpayers. In accordance with the norms of the Constitution, they must be adopted by the Parliament, signed by the President and officially published three months before the start of the new fiscal year, that is, before October 1. Accordingly, the tax legislation of the republic in 2020 will not be changed, the speaker concluded, closing the meeting of the presidium.

The next plenary meeting is scheduled for October 2.
