Traditionally, on the eve of the plenary session, members of "The Obnovlenie" of the parliamentary faction hold plenary meeting. They discuss the most controversial legislations considered by the deputy corps in order to formulate and adopt a consolidated decision. During the last meeting, members of "The Obnovlenie" supported the legislative initiative of colleagues Victor Guzun and Oleg Leontiev, who acted as initiators of the transfer of insurance control and insurance regulation to the central bank (now these issues are regulated by the Government). The corresponding legal norm is contained in the Russian legislation. The essence of the amendments proposed by parliamentarians in a number of legislative acts is to empower the Pridnestrovian Republican Bank to regulate all segments of the financial market, which includes insurance.
Businessmen working in the sphere of rendering advertising services applied to the parliament with a request to establish a uniform procedure for their provision at the legislative level. Currently, the rules for running this business are established by local authorities, they are different for each city of PMR. In order to establish a unified order, Viktor Guzun, the head of the Supreme Council for the Development of Entrepreneurship and Industry, became the developer of changes to the laws "On advertising", "On the basis of the tax system in PMR" and the Land Code. They concern the order of registration, the terms of issuing permits and technical certificates for the purpose of distribution of outdoor advertising in populated areas. In particular, the draft law proposed to charge a fee for the distribution of outdoor advertising from the recording of the period of its actual placement. One of the goals of adopting new laws is to reduce the costs of entrepreneurs engaged in the advertising business.
The majority of members of the faction also supported the adoption in the second reading of amendments to the Rules of Procedure of the Supreme Council. They stipulate the possibility of the functioning of the working bodies of the Parliament, including its Presidium, during the intersessional period, when the autumn or spring session has not yet been formally opened.
Among discussed issues during the sessions were also issues of social security and provision of benefits, currency regulation, provision of certain types of medical services on the basis of an individual entrepreneurial patent.
