Measures to combat the spread of coronavirus due to the pandemic became the main activities of the state administrations of Tiraspol and Dnestrovsk in 2020. Over 37 million rubles were spent on this events, 29 of them from the local budget. This is the disinfection of entrances, elevators, playgrounds, the work of a quarantine hospital on the basis of the "Spartak" camp and the "Tirotex" dispensary, transportation of medical personnel.
The training switched to remote mode. Schools are provided with computer equipment and are connected to the Internet. Due to the fact that children did not eat in kindergartens and schools, parents could receive a food package or monetary compensation. The Supreme Council prescribed such a possibility at the level of the law. This concerned children who were entitled to reduced price meals. More than 12800 families received food, more than 10100 families received monetary compensation in Tiraspol.
A number of kindergartens and schools were repaired in Tiraspol under the program of the Capital Investment Fund. The largest facility within the capital investment fund is the Yekaterininsky Park. A sports ground, a fountain and an exhibition complex were equipped, information poles with the main historical dates of the city's formation were installed. The construction of an entertaining children's town will be completed this year.
Oleg Dovgopol, speaking about demographic indicators, noted a decrease in the birth rate. Chairman of the Supreme Council Alexander Korshunov was interested in the opinion of the mayor of the city on how to stimulate an increase in this indicator. The opinion was expressed that affordability of housing and higher wages could become a factor in improving the birth rate. There are various lending programs for young families and public sector employees to purchase housing in the republic now. The Parliament Speaker voiced the issue of replacing elevators. 64% of lifts are expired today. 10-15 elevators are with expired service life, the Head of the state administration explained.
Deputies of the Supreme Council raised the problem of repairing secondary roads. Zarechny Lane, for example, in the Oktyabrsky microdistrict is still without pavement. The problem has been raised by voters more than once. Deputy of the Supreme Council for the constituency No. 29 "Odessky" Igor Buga was interested in when on this site will appear asphalt. The parliamentarian raised the issue of reducing the number of public transport in Tiraspol. 312 city route taxis operated in 2019, only 170 in 2020. It was noted that minibus drivers violate the traffic schedule, which causes inconvenience to city residents. A solution to the problem will be discussed at the state administration level.
Deputy of constituency No.30 “Kirovsky” Grigory Dyachenko was interested in the fate of the unfinished building of school No.15. The building could house an elementary school. It is planned that the necessary work will be completed in the coming years, the Head of Tiraspol assured.
The parliamentarians focused on improving the image of the capital. Andrey Mezhinsky, representing the interests of constituency No. 32 "Komsomolsky", noted the well-coordinated work of the deputies of the Tiraspol City Council and municipal organizations.
This year, the republican budget allocated funds for the renovation of the stadium located next to the school. The Capital Investment Fund provides for about 3 million rubles for these purposes. It is planned to equip football and basketball fields, a running track and landscaping the area around the stadium.
Andrei Mezhinsky brought to the attention of the Head of the city one more problem faced by residents of the Oktyabrsky microdistrict. It concerns the state of the trolleybus networks in Odesskaya Street, which connects the microdistrict with the central part of the city. Trolleybus wire breaks cause traffic jams during rush hour.
Deputies raised the problems of unauthorized landfills, the work of housing and operating companies, the state of the city park "Pobeda" and other issues of concern to voters in Tiraspol districts.
The President of the PMR Vadim Krasnoselsky after hearing the report on the work of the state administrations of Tiraspol and Dnestrovsk in 2020, called it satisfactory. The President set a number of tasks, including the reconstruction of the capital's embankment, the creation of a museum complex, the completion of the construction of a children's town in Catherine Park, the renovation of the Pridnestrovian State University, as well as interaction with entrepreneurs.
