Three day instead of one included to the experience: for those who struggle with coronavirus

Each day of the fight against coronavirus will be counted in the length of service as three working days. This applies to doctors, nurses, militia officers and volunteers. The Supreme Council, in the regime of legislative necessity, received the law-in-draft from the President Vadim Krasnoselsky. The document must be considered in a short terms. Today, the proposal of the President was supported by deputies of the Legislation Committee. The Committee meeting was held in remote format.

People in daily contact with coronavirus carriers during work risk their own health and even life. First of all, these are medical workers, is noted in the explanatory note to the law-in-draft. World statistics indicate a high percentage of cases in the medical sphere. Employees of government agencies that carry out activities to combat the spread of coronavirus infection are at risk. Volunteers provide assistance in the treatment of sick people. Pridnestrovians with medical education contributed to the fight against the infection, and they were sent to coronavirus hospitals for special military training.

In order for all these people to apply preferential calculation of work experience, it is necessary to amend the laws “On state pension provision of citizens in the PMR” and “On state pension provision of persons who have served in the military, in the internal affairs bodies, in the penal system, and in the judicial service performers, tax and customs authorities, and their families”. The law-in-draft of the President will soon be considered by deputies of the Supreme Council at a plenary meeting.

In addition, the relevant legislation committee prepared for consideration in second reading the draft resolution of the Supreme Council "On amnesty in connection with the 75th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War dated 1941-1945 and the 30th anniversary of the establishment of the PMR". The document was developed by a specially created working group, which included deputies of the Legislation Committee, representatives of the Ministry of Justice, the Prosecutor's Office, the Investigative Committee and the Supreme Court. Amnesty will be applied to those who embarked on the path of correction, have positive characteristics. First of all, this will affect convicted combatants, disabled people of groups I and II, pregnant women, large families, people of retirement age and those over 70 years old. It is proposed to amnesty evading military service. The profile committee worked out all the proposals received from the subjects of the law of legislative initiative. Deputies will consider the draft resolution of the Supreme Council on amnesty in the second reading at the next plenary meeting.
