Legislators have practically completed work on legislations, regulating migration mechanisms, registration and adoption of citizenship of PMR. The final amendments, prepared for adoption in the final reading, were considered by the Committee on Legislation, Law Enforcement, Defense, Security, Peacekeeping, Protection of Citizens' Rights and Freedoms.

Earlier, the draft of the constitutional law "On the citizenship of PMR", legislations "On the order of entry to PMR and exit from PMR", "On the legal status of foreign citizens and stateless persons in PMR", "On migration registration of foreign citizens and stateless persons in PMR"," On the right of citizens of PMR to freedom of movement, choice of place of residence and residence within PMR". The basis for the development and adoption of initiatives were numerous citizens' complaints, including during the presidential election campaign and then included in the People's Program of President Vadim Krasnoselsky.

The work on legislations lasted more than six months. A working group was formed for detailed study of the legislations, which along with deputies included representatives of the migration service, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the customs committee, the prosecutor's office and the courts. Within the framework of the third reading, the work was carried out to harmonize the norms of future laws with those already in force. As explained by the chairman of the responsible committee Galina Antyufeeva, the changes were demanded by more than 25 laws - "On the state border of PMR", "On the militia", Housing and Customs codes and many others.

The Committee recommended a package of legislative initiatives aimed at combating corruption for adoption in the second reading. These are legislations on Combating Corruption, On Control over the Correspondence of Expenditures of Persons Who Substitute Public Positions, and Other Persons to Their Incomes, On Anti-Corruption Expertise of Regulatory Legal Acts and Draft Normative Acts.

Legislators propose to oblige officials to provide reliable information about their incomes, expenditures and property, to establish control over the compliance of officials expenses with received revenues. Anti-corruption expertise of normative and legal acts, as well as their projects was proposed to be introduced as the main measure designed to exclude the corruption component in decision-making at all levels of Government. According to legislators the prosecutor's office should be the executor of such an examination. The draft laws also define responsibility for corruption. The initiatives are aimed at harmonization with the Russian legislation.
