The Working Group, whose members are called upon to improve the legislation on migration, registration and deregistration of citizens crossing the border, has been established under the auspices of the Parliamentary Committee on Legislation. Along with the deputies it composed of representatives of the Interior Ministry, the KGB, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, as well as the Joint Control Commission (JCC). Legislations, designed to modernize the immigration policy of the state ar jointly  discussed.

Members at the next meeting of the working group continued to discuss preparing for the second reading the draft law "On the Legal Status of Foreign Citizens and Stateless Persons in Pridnestrovie". The proposals of the parliamentary committee on legislation clarifies the list of documents required for obtaining a residence permit. This, in particular, the identity document of an alien, a temporary residence permit, personal photos and Receipt of state duty payment.

Another proposal of the Supreme Council of the relevant committee is to determine the reason for the refusal to grant a residence permit foreign citizens. It is proposed not to issue the document in the following cases: if a citizen was for undermining Pridnestrovian statehood, involved in the organization of terrorist acts and other crimes. Members of the working group determined the term - 5 working days - during which the foreign national must deny the opportunity to temporarily reside on the territory of Pridnestrovie in case of detection of these facts.

A list of documents certifying the identity of the foreign citizen in Pridnestrovie was proposed during the meeting of the working group. Foreign, service passports and seaman's passport were referred to it. The working group members discussed legal features of being in the country of refugees, determined their rights and responsibilities. Due to lack of budget funding from the list of rights they excluded assist in providing an interpreter, receive vocational training. The refugees will be able to receive along with all foreign citizens. While social protection, employment assistance, health services was left.
