The President Vadim Krasnoselsky proposed to introduce a number of amendments and addendum to the law "On the Diplomatic Service". The prepared initiative completes the procedure for the transition of foreign ministry employees to the state civil service, taking into account the analogous law in force in Russia. The law-in-draft was considered at a meeting of the parliamentary committee. The Foreign Ministry prepared an amendment providing for the possibility for the department to admit graduates of a state university to the diplomatic service under an employment contract as part of the discussion of the document in the second reading.
According to the head of the committee Galina Antyufeeva, despite the specifics in the activities of individual departments, government officials should be presented with uniform requirements, and they are spelled out in the law. Nevertheless, the situation described by the representative of the Foreign Ministry, the parliamentarians took note, the amendment will be discussed in the working order.
Deputies of the committee considered the legislative initiative developed by their parliamentary colleagues Vitaly Kalin and Vasily Vlasov. The law-in-draft provides for the addition of the law "On Notary".
After the adoption of the law, the mortgage agreement is not subject to mandatory notarization, and if the citizens or legal entities wish to protect their rights by attesting the contract to a notary, the latter should be guided by the law "On Notary" and recover the notary tariff depending on the amount of the contract, state fee. The authors of the law-in-draft consider it necessary to bring the previously outlined concept of the law to a logical application in practice, adding to the law "On Notary" with a similar norm, which was contained in the law "On State Duty". Deputies of the committee recommended the Supreme Council to adopt the law-in-draft in two readings, noting that a lot of complaints are received on this issue.
Members of the profile committee supported the law-in-draft, drafted by Deputy Yuri Kucherenko. The document provides for the possibility for individuals who have served in law enforcement agencies to choose their own way, as well as the bank that will be responsible for issuing a pension. According to the author, the adoption of this legislative initiative will serve to expand the network of points of receipt of pensions, make this procedure even more convenient and affordable for pensioners, increase competition and thereby contribute to improving the quality of pension payment services.
