The parliamentarians in the course of the regular meeting of the Committee on Economic Policy, Budget and Finance discussed what support the state will provide to enterprises providing information and computing services. Changes to the Law of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic "On additional measures aimed at stabilizing the economy in the PMR" are proposed by the Government of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic.

These enterprises, as recalled by the Deputy Minister of Economic Development, have enjoyed tax benefits since July 2016 within the framework of the law "On additional measures aimed at stabilizing the economy of the PMR". The law is valid until the end of this year. Such support measures have had a beneficial effect on the activities of such organizations. Thus, their number in Pridnestrovie increased from 2 to 7 during the specified period. Organizations developed internal investments and increased the volume of the service sector by subjects of the information and computing industry. However, the situation of these enterprises in the current year has worsened according to the results of the analysis of the industry, this is due to the external economic situation. Specialists of the Ministry of Economic Development note a decrease in income and net profit indicators. The Ministry of Economic Development and the Government of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic are proposing to extend the tax break valid this year for the next year to prevent the situation of these organizations from worsening. The deputies of the Committee on Economic Policy agreed with the proposal. The law-in-draft will be submitted to one of the next plenary sessions for consideration in the first reading.

Another law-in-draft "On the state list of small privatization objects for 2023-2024" proposes the PMR Government to consider in the first reading.

This draft proposes to approve a list of small privatization objects for 2023–2024, which are under the jurisdiction of several ministries and departments of the republic. These facilities are not used for their intended purpose currently, their maintenance is not carried out, significant financial resources are required for the overhaul of buildings and structures. Communications and technical conditions are mostly outdated or disabled. As noted at the Committee on Economic Policy, revenues to the state budget in the amount of about 11 million rubles are planned during the two years from the privatization of these facilities.

The deputies of the Committee supported the Government's initiative and submitted the law-in-draft for consideration by the plenary session in the first reading. The list of objects will be slightly adjusted in preparation for the second reading.
