Informing about the results of work

The Law "On the Status of People's Deputies of Local Councils of People's Deputies of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic" establishes the need for deputies to inform the Council about the work they have done to review citizens' proposals, applications and complaints at least once a year. A prosecutor's inspection of compliance with this rule revealed that many deputies provided this information within different deadlines or within deadlines set by the Council.

In connection with this, Supreme Council deputies Ruslan Gareev and Boris German proposed to clearly define the deadline in the law: until February 1 of the year following the reporting year. The authors propose making similar changes to the Law "On Local Authorities, Local Self-Government and State Administration in the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic".

Deputies in the course of the Regional Policy Committee meeting spoke in favor of adopting the proposed legislations in two readings, taking into account technical amendments. The initiatives will be considered at a plenary meeting of the Supreme Council.
