The Head of the Committee of the Supreme Council on Legislation, Law Enforcement, Protection of the Rights and Freedoms of Citizens, as well as advisor to the Speaker of Parliament Elena Gorodetskaya were participants of outcome plenum of the Arbitration Court. Prime Minister Tatiana Turanskaya, representatives of the judiciary, heads of ministries and departments, local authorities and the mass-media also participated in its work.
The main activities of the Arbitration Court of the Republic, results of last year were highlighted in the report of the Chairman of the Arbitration Court Maria Melnik. Judges of the Arbitration Court, there are totally 10 of them, as well as employees of the judicial authorities handled almost all aspects even with insufficient resource base with the set objectives for this year.
Last year, the arbitration received 1,073 applications and lawsuits. The total number of cases considered by the court (with the decision) was 906 in 2014. It is particularly important to note that positive results have been achieved in terms of increasing burden on judges. Thus, according to statistics given in the report, each judge of the Arbitration Court had an average of 17 cases per month last year. This imposes additional responsibility on the officials, dressed in judicial robes. allowed 17 controversies (2% of the total number of examined cases in the past year) were determined in violation of the procedural two-month period set by legislation for consideration by the court of first instance. This fact - is one more evidence of the quality and efficiency of the staff of the Arbitration Court. In addition, the judicial department published the Report where explanation of all Plenums of the Court of Arbitration on the application of substantive and procedural law were systematized. This book will be of great help to all lawyers.
Head of the Arbitration Court in the presented report to participants of the plenum paid attention to the main directions of the daily activities of the court, including access to information about the work of the court for broad social and stopped on the existing problems, the proposed ways to solve them. Particular attention was paid to the improvement of the current legislation, the interaction of those who create the legal framework of the republic, and those who administer justice. Professional development is of particular importance for the latter. Last year, three judges of the Court of Arbitration PMR have been attended qualification upgrading courses in Moscow.
