In Anticipation of the Report

Members of the Presidium of the Supreme Council in the course of the meeting discussed the issues, included in the agenda of the upcoming and subsequent plenary sessions. Among them – there is activity of state programs in the health sector. They concern delivery of cancer care to the population improving, prevention of tuberculosis and citizens of PMR immunization. Practice of their implementation has demonstrated the effectiveness. Draft laws on the extension of these targeted programs for another five years - from 2016 to 2020 inclusive - will be discussed by the deputies in the course of plenary session.

The incidence of tuberculosis is of particular concern to health professionals and the public. So, according to statistics, 104 cases of the disease per 100 thousand people are recorded in Pridnestrovie. International Global Fund took over the providing part of expensive drugs.

The deputies of the responsible committee consider that a new mandatory flu vaccine needs to be written in the law that approves state target program of immunization, designed for the next five years.

Let’s remember that it was planned originally to hear the report of the Government on its activities in 2014, as well as information on the implementation of the national budget and the budget of the Unified State Social Insurance Fund for the previous year during the plenary meeting on 22 April. Joint decision to postpone the consideration of the report of 13 May was adopted today at the meeting of the Presidium of the Supreme Council. In this regard, Deputies wondered when Parliament receive answers to the questions of interest previously directed to the deputies and voters previously sent by people's representatives to the executive authority. Assurances were received from representatives of the Government that the written responses to questions will be forwarded to the Supreme Council after the meeting of the executive authority, scheduled for April 28.

In the course of tomorrow's plenary session lawmakers plan to discuss the law-in-draft "On some additional government measures aimed at minimizing the negative impact of external economic factors" made by the president in the regime of legislative necessity. Pre document has completed the review of parliamentary committees previously. The initiative "On additional measures aimed at stabilizing the economy of PMR" was presented along with this to the Supreme Council deputy. The law-in-draft, designed by parliamentarians Alexander Korshunov and Peter Pasat provides for measures to mitigate the continuing decline in the real economy, to prevent against this backdrop of worsening existing economic imbalances and the standard of living of citizens.
