The subject of way out of difficult situation, where the republic's economy turned out to be, has been dominant in the course of the meeting of the Presidium of the Supreme Council. The basis for the exchange of views between lawmakers and officials of the head of state and government in parliament became the law-in-draft of deputies Alexander Korshunov and Peter Pasat "On additional measures to stabilize the economy of PMR". Members of the parliamentary committee on economic policy, budget and finance, with the participation of the productive sector of the economy, small and medium-sized businesses considered anti-crisis law-in-draft at the end of the last working week.
The law-in-draft, in fact, became a response to numerous accusations of deputies, including the media sites, that "deputies reject all legislations themselves without offering anything in return". A group of deputies issued their proposals for overcoming the crisis in the form of above mentioned law-in-draft. However, there is no still conclusion of the government. Moreover, the head of the Supreme Council received a letter from the Prime Minister, requesting the law-in-draft in addition to the present document, which would reflect the socio-economic impact of the implementation of its provisions, if it is adopted, signed by the President and will come into effect. Authors of the law-in-draft traced "the rejection of the joint constructive work based on formal grounds" in such a position.
After a lengthy discussion, the majority of the members of the Supreme Council expressed support for the draft law "On additional measures to stabilize the economy of PMR". However, it was decided that the relevant committee will consider the document at its meeting again. Then the inclusion of the law-in-draft to the agenda of the plenary session will be discussed again.
In the course of the next plenary meeting that is scheduled to take place on May 13 elected representatives will get acquainted with the report of the Commissioner for Human Rights in PMR on the state of observance and protection of the rights and freedoms of man and citizen in the past year, as well as discuss the Amendments to the Electoral Code Republic, legislation in the social sphere and other issues proposed by deputies.
