Russian Deputies: the Work on the Budget 2016

As we reported in previous materials on legislative activity of Russian deputies (the State Duma and the Federation Council) in Russia again went on the formation of the budget for one year. The hard work on his project for 2016 is in full swing.

Their colleagues from the State Duma Committee on Science did not support the draft state budget for 2016 and recommended the lower house of parliament to reject it.

It follows from the conclusions of the Committee members consider inappropriate to further budget cuts for science and education.

The relevant committee considers that the necessary funds to finance science and education bust be allocated in the main financial document of the country for the next year in order to achieve the performance prescribed decrees by the President of Russia Vladimir Putin. They relate to measures for the implementation of social and public policy in the sphere of education and science.

With regard to the draft budget of Pridnestrovie, it is not under consideration by the Supreme Council within the current legislation period - until 10 September. Along with this, the legislature of the republic is initiated law-in-draft by the head of state, according to which time limits for the main financial document of the country's parliament should be postponed until December 1.
