Citizens of different professions and ages address the Chairman of the Supreme Council, Alexander Shcherba during the receptions. In addition to helping to resolve personal issues, complex life situations, citizens raise problems that require improvement of legislation.
At the next reception the speaker was visited by representatives of enterprises engaged in geodesy and cartography. Being practicing specialists, they presented their proposals and developments, which, in their opinion, can simplify the work in this area. In particular, entrepreneurs asked about the possibility of using satellite technologies in their work. This could improve the quality of the work performed, making them cheaper. Experts also touched upon the problem of administrative barriers.
According to Alexander Shcherba, the solution of issues in this sphere is relevant for the republic. The process of land inventory is far from complete, and the assistance of private specialized enterprises will not be superfluous.
The head of the legislative body suggested the representatives of the industry to formulate their proposals in a single document, after which it will be submitted to the Supreme Council and the Government for elaboration of an integrated approach. The Speaker of the Parliament is convinced that the regulation of land relations and the procedure for using land is a state task. More recently, parliamentarians supported the legislative initiative of the deputy Alexander Shcherba, which determines the mechanism for financing the production of geodetic and cartographic work when registering the rights to a land plot. The law-in-draft specifies that the state takes the responsibility for financing the work on land inventory. At the same time, the applicant must initially pay for the inventory of land, and then the state in the form of reducing the land tax compensates it for the incurred costs.
Another important topic, which was widely discussed during the reception of citizens, is the role of culture in the life of the republic. Representatives of the initiative group addressed the Chairman of the Supreme Council, who oppose the planned reorganization of state administration in the sphere of culture.
Cultural figures with this problem turned to the President, who found understanding. The speaker for his part expressed the opinion that it is necessary with any kind of changes to be guided by the principle "do no harm", the result of making managerial decisions must be changes for the better.
