Our Republic celebrates the 24th anniversary of the entry of peacekeeping forces of Russia in Pridnestrovie. July 29, 1992 the Government of PMR approved the Resolution "On the main principles of creation and activity of the group of military observers and military contingent of peacekeeping forces, intended for the armed conflict in the Pridnestrovian region". The peacekeepers entry guarantee the safety of the public, provided the opportunity for further development and prosperity of Pridnestrovian land. "Courage for the sake of peace, stability and the rule of law" - the motto of the Russian peacekeepers over the years provide peace and quiet on the banks of the Dniester.

The head of the legislature gave letters of thanks and gifts to a group of servicemen.

Fresh flowers were laid at the monument to Lieutenant General Alexander Lebed, memory and grief memorial and stele "Bendery – is the City of Military Glory."
