Alexander Shcherba, “We have a lot of work to do”

We have a lot of work to do in the autumn session. Traditionally in the autumn, legislators will focus on discussing bills of economic direction. The development of the tax base will form the basis of the republican budget-2019. Special attention is planned to be given to the state target programs during the discussion of the law-in-draft "On the republican budget-2019". There is potential for improvement both in terms of more efficient use of budgetary funds, as well as in the inclusion of more objects in the program.

The concept of fiscal and tax policy is important for parliamentarians. Although the current legislation does not specify its precise application from January 1, 2019, the document should be understandable to everyone, and above all to the economy.

The subject of discussion of the deputies will also be a package of legislations that has been submitted to the Supreme Council, implying a new approach to the activities of entrepreneurs, in particular, individual entrepreneurs. Our task is to combine effective state control in this sphere with the implementation of guarantees provided to entrepreneurs by law so that these opportunities do not remain only on paper. After all, activities based on entrepreneurial patent are carried out by 22 thousand people. If we take into account the family members of these citizens, we will get a serious percentage of the economically active population that does not work in the budgetary sphere. The state should take into account the interests of such a number in the majority of law-abiding citizens who are always ready for a constructive dialogue. It is important that the Supreme Council conducts painstaking and important work to improve legislation, eliminate legislative gaps.

This year is a complex, tense state, confronted with both external threats and factors that negatively affect the economy of the republic, as well as contemporary challenges. Thanks to the well-coordinated work of government bodies, the fact that they listen to the opinion of citizens and public organizations, we managed to preserve, and somewhere to multiply, the unity that is the basis of our independence. Unity, manifested during the formation of the republic, allowed us to resist the armed aggression on the part of the Republic of Moldova. We still have much to do together. We are ready to work, put all our efforts on the altar of the common main thing - the development of our state.
