A discussion on the topic of allocating funding to eliminate the problem of the deplorable state of intra-block and courtyard passages in residential microdistricts of the cities of the republic was held at a plenary meeting of the Supreme Council. President Vadim Krasnoselsky proposed to include the length of intra-block and courtyard driveways in the length of public roads, so that money would be purposefully allocated from the Road Fund for the repair of such driveways to solve the problem. However, the law-in-draft did not receive the necessary number of votes from deputies for adoption and was rejected.

The PMR Supreme at the plenary meeting today approved reports on the progress of implementation of a number of state programs for 2023.

Deputies of the Supreme Council approved today a draft resolution on approval of the progress report on the implementation of the “Re-equipment of Fire Department Service Vehicles” for 2021-2029” State Target Program for 2023.

Deputies were acquainted how the “Development of the agro-industrial complex of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic for 2019-2026” state target program worked in 2023.

Report on the implementation for last year of the state target program for the restoration and development of the reclamation complex of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic for 2022-2026 was approved by deputies in the course of the plenary meeting.

Deputies of the Committee on Legislation, Protection of Rights and Freedoms of Citizens initiated legislations aimed at providing the opportunity for conscript students to continue their studies at universities in cases where there is no correspondence or evening courses in their specialty.

Parliamentarians in the final reading adopted amendments in the field of migration and registration. Pridnestrovians or foreign citizens will not need to submit an application and documents for re-registration in case of change of address of residence or place of stay (based on a decision of a local government body).
