News of the Supreme Council

A referendum, in which residents of the capital spoke in favor of giving the city the status of an independent territory with full equality of languages was held in Tiraspol on January 28, 1990.

A meeting of the presidium of the legislature of the republic was held in the Supreme Council under the chairmanship of the vice-speaker Galina Antyufeyeva.
