The legislations of social orientation were considered by deputies during the plenary session. Changes will affect orphans and children left without parental care.
Previously, orphans and children left without parental care could enter a higher educational institution more than once. This was due to numerous expulsions from the university. The reason is poor performance and skipping classes. Now, at the expense of the state budget, it will be possible to receive professional education only once.
By a majority of votes, the deputy corps adopted this initiative of the Government in the first reading. Work on the document will continue as part of its preparation for consideration in the second reading.
Another social law-in-draft will provide parents with the opportunity to receive temporary disability benefits when caring for a sick child with a disability. The authors of amendments proposed to increase the age of a disabled child from 14 to 18 years, during the illness of which a caregiver will be issued a sick leave and disability allowance. The law-in-draft was adopted in the second reading.
