VII Pridnestrovian International Investment Economic Forum is ready for opening


On October 10, the Pridnestrovian International Investment Economic Forum will be opened in the capital. This year, its participants and guests will be met by the Tiraspol cinema and concert complex. The Forum will be opened with the plenary session “The Future of Pridnestrovie: Challenges, Strategy, Mechanisms for Success”. It is planned to address the head of the Committee of the Supreme Council for the Development of Entrepreneurship and Industry Viktor Guzun. Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council Galina Antyufeyeva, Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee for Education in Science and Culture Mikhail Burla, Chairman of the Committee for Economic Policy, Budget and Finance Oleg Vasilaty, Advisor to the Chairman of the Supreme Council - Plenipotentiary Representative of the Supreme Council of the PMR in the Russian Federation on Inter-Parliamentary Cooperation Olga Gukalenko and others take part in the Forum.

The first day will be devoted to discussion of topics that reflect the processes of digitalization of the economy, the prospects for the development of the IT industry and investments in it. The main topic of the second day will be tourism. The plenary session will be dedicated to territory marketing. Its moderator will be the president of the National Tourism Organization of Ukraine Ivan Liptuga. The participation of speakers from Moldova, Russia, Belarus, France, Italy and other countries is expected. Also, within the framework of the forum, a program to support the development of tourism and, separately, tourism offers from Pridnestrovie will be presented.

On October 12, information tours on tourist routes offered by Pridnestrovie will be presented for guests. After that, representatives of the tourism business will be invited to the festival of wine in the Bendery Fortress.

More than 500 guests have already registered for the forum. These are representatives of the academic environment (universities, research centers), businessmen, potential investors, narrow specialized specialists, lawmakers. Among 19 countries are states of near and far abroad. More guests from abroad than last year are expected. There will be 13 panel sessions for forum guests.

The forum will be an important event in the framework of the tourism development program for 2019–2026, adopted by the Supreme Council in June this year. Currently, work is underway to improve the legislative framework, new tourist signs installation is underway, an agreement has been signed to create commercials, negotiations with the branding company are underway.
