There is a scientific-practical conference "The cultural heritage in the system of spiritual values of Pridnestrovian society" in Tiraspol. The event, organized by the Center for the Study of the Cultural-Historical and Spiritual Heritage of Pridnestrovie, is being held in the republic for the tenth time. Mikhail Burla, Head of the State Service for Culture and Historical Heritage Maria Kirmyz, State Advisor to the President Anna Volkova, representatives of the clergy, cultural figures, teachers and students of the State University took part in the plenary meeting held in the Palace of the Republic.
The exhibition was organized where stylized traditional costumes of the peoples of Pridnestrovie, works of artists-participants of the international symposium "Kam Art", workshop "Wool house" were presented in the foyer of the Palace of the Republic. In addition, among the exhibits there are archival materials from the funds of the State Service for Management of Documentation and Archives.
In the course of the plenary session, State Advisor to the President Anna Volkova noted that the issues related to culture and history are state-significant for Pridnestrovie.
Chairman of the profile parliamentary committee Mikhail Burla emphasized the great role played by the Center for the Study of Cultural, Historical and Spiritual Heritage in the life of the republic.
In the course of the plenary session, it was noted that the Expert Council for Culture, which was headed by Nikolai Dymchenko, Honored Worker of Culture, Candidate of Cultural Sciences, started his work in the Supreme Council. The main task of the body will be the improvement of legislation in the sphere of culture.
The scientific and practical conference "The Cultural heritage in the system of spiritual values of the Pridnestrovian society" will last three days. During this time, scientists and cultural figures, as well as representatives of the clergy, will talk about preservation of the heritage of Pridnestrovie, the patriotic, spiritual and moral education of the younger generation, as well as the development of art in our republic at various venues and in various formats. The conference materials will be published in the cultural almanac "The Pridnestrovian Heritage".
