In accordance with the decision taken by members of the Presidium of the Legislature, the next plenary meeting is scheduled for June 6.

The agenda of the forthcoming sessions of the Supreme Council includes a package of legislative initiatives prepared for consideration by the Committee on Legislation, Law Enforcement, Defense, Security, Peacekeeping, Protection of Citizens' Rights and Freedoms. As the head of the committee Galina Antyufeeva informed, among them there are amendments to the Electoral Code, the Administrative Code, the Laws on Civil Status Acts, as well as the procedure for entry and exit from the republic. Deputies Galina Antyufeeva and Vitaly Kalin suggest using the appeals of citizens to regulate the procedure for crossing the border with a child. They consider it necessary to enshrine in the law the obligation to indicate in the application prohibiting the departure of a child the reasons for such a decision, and also to oblige state authorities in charge of migration issues to notify the second parent of the application that has been received.

Members of the Committee on Economic Policy, Budget and Finance submit to the deputy corps a number of legislative initiatives supplementing the norms of the law "On the Republican Budget 2018". According to the head of the profile parliamentary committee Alexander Korshunov, one of the legislations proposed to expand the category of recipients of free vouchers for sanatorium treatment. In addition to veterans of the Great Patriotic War, it will include defenders of Pridnestrovie, participants in military operations on the territory of other states, "Chernobyl victims".

It is planned in the first reading mode to consider the law-in-draft "On Public Procurement in Pridnestrovie". The document was developed by a group of deputies, and given its complexity and significance, it was discussed for a long time in the relevant committees. The authors are convinced that the basis of the public procurement system should be based on basic principles: efficiency, transparency and openness. In the opinion of the Chairman of the Supreme Council Alexander Shcherba, the law is necessary and long in demand, will allow to economically spend public money.

It is also planned to adopt a law-in-draft introducing amendments to the law "On Customs Tariff" for consideration of the deputy corps. It is designed to create favorable conditions for the implementation of foreign economic activities by business entities and to settle issues related to preferential movement of goods. Vadim Doni, Deputy Chairman of the Committee for the Development of Entrepreneurship and Industry, explained to his colleagues that the matter concerns goods transported as gratuitous aid and for charitable purposes, as well as imported to Pridnestrovie in pursuance of the agreements reached in the negotiation process with the Republic of Moldova.

Upon the completion of the presidium, the chairman of “The Obnovlenie” (Renewal) parliamentary faction Petr Pasat informed his colleagues about the faction's planned meeting to date and the topic of the upcoming discussion.
