A group of deputies of the Supreme Council proposed to expand the concept of "large family". Now a large family is considered a family that brings up at least three children under 18 years old, but if they study full-time in colleges, technical schools and universities, then up to 23 years old or until graduation.
Families with a disabled child of Group I will now be considered large until they graduate or reach 23 years of age, even if such a child is studying by correspondence. In addition, in the course of work on the law-in-draft in the second reading, it is planned to extend the effect of the law-in-draft to families with disabled children of II and III groups.
The Supreme Council adopted the corresponding amendments to the law "On state support for large families" in the first reading. The work on the document will be continued.
