The PMR Supreme Council deputies adopted amendments to the law "On income tax from individuals" in the second final reading at the plenary session today. The adopted amendments will reduce the income tax rate for seasonal workers hired by agricultural enterprises under a fixed-term employment contract.

The parliamentarians began the plenary session today with a moment of silence in memory of all those who died during the Great Patriotic War. The PMR Supreme Council Chairman Alexander Korshunov addressed the deputies and the invitees, noting the importance of this mournful date, the day of the beginning of the Great Patriotic War, for every Pridnestrovian.

Pridnestrovie celebrated the 81st anniversary of the start of the Great Patriotic War. "Candle of Memory" was lit in the towns and districts of Pridnestrovie. The representatives of the Parliament honored the heroes and victims of the war of 1941-1945.

The Youth Parliament under the PMR Supreme Council held a regular plenary session. The agenda includes replenishment of the staff, proposals for amending the law “On personal income tax” and the installation of guide stands on the campus of PSU.

The PMR Supreme Council Chairman and deputies as part of a delegation of the leadership of the republic headed by the PMR President on the day of the Bendery tragedy visited memorial places and honored the memory of militiamen, Cossacks and women defenders who died in 1992.

The Memorial Museum of the Bendery Tragedy was opened in the city after reconstruction on the day of the 30th anniversary of the start of full-scale hostilities in Bendery. This year marks a quarter of a century since its opening. The current renovation is the first in the history of the museum. The PMR President Vadim Krasnoselsky, speaker Alexander Korshunov, parliamentarians attended the opening of the museum.

Hundreds of Pridnestrovians took part in the “Road of Memory” mass event in Bendery, many came from other cities of the republic to carry portraits of their dead relatives and comrades. The families of the defenders came on the Day of the Bendery tragedy and to the Borisov cemetery.

Commemorative events on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the Bendery tragedy continued at the Borisov cemetery. The Supreme Council Chairman and deputies from Bendery laid flowers at the graves of the defenders on the Alley of Heroes.
