The government submitted amendments to the Civil Code to the Supreme Council. The law-in-draft proposes to regulate the procedure for termination of the right of ownership of dwelling, if it is left without owner. The document was considered by deputies of the Committee on State Regional Policy. According to the provisions of the Civil Code, if the homeowner handles it carelessly or violates the rights and interests of neighbors, the local government can issue a warning. If the violations have not been eliminated, the court at the suit of the local government may decide to sell the premises at public auction (with payment to the owner of the proceeds from the sale minus the costs of execution of the court decision).
Presenting the law-in-draft, Deputy Prime Minister Stanislav Kasap noted that today it is necessary to empower local governments with such powers.
Taking into account the arguments of the government representative, the deputies of the relevant committee agreed on the need to adopt amendments to the Civil Code.
Deputies of the profile committee will recommend at the plenary meeting to adopt the law-in-draft in the first reading.
At the meeting of the committee, the initiative of Deputy Oleg Vasilaty was also considered. The parliamentarian proposed to amend the law “On the Basics of the Tax System in the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic”, due to which, in his opinion, the payer of the target collection of the village for landscaping will be legally defined.
Members of the Committee supported the initiative of their colleagues in the deputies' corps. The document is recommended for adoption in the first reading.
