Deputies of the Committee on Legislation continued to discuss legislations relating to optimizing the number of deputies in the republic. The authors of the changes to the Constitution, the law “On the Regulations of the PMR Supreme Council” and the Electoral Code were made by a large group of parliamentarians. There is a preparation of legislations for their consideration in the second reading. All received amendments were discussed at the meeting of the profile committee. In particular, they clarify the procedure for the formation of polling stations and the formation of local Soviets.

Deputies of the Committee during the meeting discussed amendments to the Code of Administrative Offenses. The law-in-draft deals with giving road users the right to choose the method of notification of violation. For example, in the form of an e-mail or SMS message. Today notifications are sent by mail. Each of them costs 10 rubles. Last year, over 43 thousand notices were sent, approximately 7 thousand were returned.

Lawmakers consider it important to reduce state expenditures in this part, therefore the law-in-draft was supported by them. At the same time it is necessary to finalize the issue of offenses notification of persons traveling in transit through the territory of the republic.

Deputies of the Committee will recommend the law-in-draft improving the norms of the Administrative Code for adoption in the first reading.

The parliamentarians also supported the amendments to the law “On state registration of legal entities and individual entrepreneurs in Pridnestrovie”. The amendments exclude the requirement that the head of a company or campaign can only be a person who has a permanent residence in the republic. The law-in-draft will be considered by the deputies in the first reading.
