Expert-advisory council on culture was formed under the Committee of the Supreme Council on Education, Science and Culture. The first meeting took place today. The advisory body included representatives of creative associations, employees of cultural administrations, educational and scientific institutions.
The Supreme Council had experience in the functioning of expert councils. Such an advisory body acted with the legislature from 2006 to 2010. The result of the first composition of the expert council was the introduction of amendments to the law "On Culture", "On Immovable Cultural Heritage Objects". Also, the council developed a new law "On creative workers and creative unions".
Nikolay Dymchenko, the director of the Center for the Study of the Cultural-Historical and Spiritual Heritage of PMR, the Honored Worker of Culture, the candidate of cultural sciences, was elected as Chairman of the current expert-advisory council on culture. He worked in the past advisory body. Thanking for the trust, Nikolai Dymchenko outlined the main direction of the council's work - to help the authorities develop legislation in the field of culture, to make Pridnestrovie attractive for both its citizens and foreigners
In the near future, the expert council will discuss the development of tourism in Pridnestrovie by popularizing cultural heritage objects, including schoolchildren and students. The meetings of the advisory body are scheduled to be held every two months.
At the end, Nikolay Dymchenko invited the council members to participate in the 10th international scientific and practical conference "Cultural Heritage in the System of Spiritual Values of Pridnestrovian Society". It will be held April 19 in "The Palace of the Republic".
