Participants in hostilities for protection of Pridnestrovie should be exempted from paying state fees for conducting a technical inspection of a car, a trailer and a motor vehicle. This is the position of the PMR President, supported today by the deputies of the Legislation Committee. Amendments to the law "On state fees" were considered in the course of the online meeting,.
The current law provides for benefits for disabled people, combatants during the Great Patriotic War, disabled people of the Second World War, for persons equated to war veterans in 1941-1945, including former concentration camp prisoners, and those who worked during the siege in Leningrad. The list includes state authorities, local governments, state and municipal institutions, which are fully funded from the republican budget.
The President proposes to add to the category of recipients of such privileges those who took part in the battles to defend Pridnestrovie from the aggression of Moldova in 1992. Defenders of Pridnestrovie pay a state duty now in the amount of 1–2 estimated levels of the minimum wage, which amounts to 14.5 to 29 rubles. If the law-in-draft of the PMR President is adopted, the payment will be canceled.
The profile committee will recommend to the deputies at the plenary session to support the law-in-draft in two readings at once.
