Members of the parliamentary committee on education considered in the second reading the government's initiative on the necessity to conclude a contract with graduates studying on a budgetary basis. It is proposed to oblige graduates who have been trained at the expense of the republican budget to work on the received specialty in organizations of any legal organizational forms of ownership. If the specialist refuses to work, he will have to compensate for the cost of training.
As representatives of the Ministry of Education explained, today the duty of state graduates to work out after completion of training is spelled out in a departmental decree. The President Vadim Krasnoselsky set the task of increasing the responsibility of the executive authorities.
Deputies of the Committee on Education, Science and Culture are confident that the problem of employment of young specialists must be addressed comprehensively. Lawmakers emphasized that the most transparent and effective mechanism should be worked out. Questions of deputies to the developers were associated, including with the system of refund, if the specialist refuses the proposed work.
Following the discussion, the parliamentarians decided to postpone further consideration of the law-in-draft to a later date. The work on it will be continued.
